The last thing a lens sees before I swap it out.

Vision - Lighting - Details

These are the three pillars of my work, and the vital elements of a good image. If you are trying to sell an item, idea, or yourself; you need to come up with the vision first. The ad agency is real good at that part, but I have clever ideas now and again.

Lighting is listed second, yet, it is the most critical part. This is my job, and what pursuit is all about. A good photographer should be able to light almost any scenario, or find the light where it hides in plain sight. An appropriately lit photograph/campaign has unrivalled impact on the effectiveness of your vision. Look at the work of any photographer you admire, and this fact will be plain as day. Mastering lighting is a life-long learning endeavour.

Details matter. We hear this all the time, so it's pretty self explanatory. Yet, the details of a shot draw me in as much as the overall image (sometimes more.) As you view my work, you will notice I have a natural fascination with the details; such as a droplet of coffee suspended mid-air, beer bubbles propogating after a spill, or ice cream melting off the lip of a cup.

My goal is to make great images, but this cannot be done alone. Reach out, let's bring some great ideas to life.
